Benjamin Garrido Diaz, Chilean based between Chile and Germany (Hamburg). Musical journey began in 2009 with the hip-hop project Benproject — collaborations on electronic beats, EPs and live shows built a solid foundation for his approach to rhythm, structure and sound design, forging a strong connection with the energy of live performance. In 2012 he stepped into the world of DJing, expanding from hip-hop into electronics; his sound evolved organically from glitch hop into minimal techno with a touch of psy, finding a home in dark progressive — where hypnotic grooves, textured atmospheres and emotional depth converge. Defining moment in 2014: a year in Melbourne, Australia — immersed in a vibrant underground scene, festivals, clubs, international connections and a full embrace of the dark progressive movement; it was there that he began producing, developing a sonic identity rooted in deep rhythms and immersive soundscapes. Since 2016 he releases regularly on respected labels including Padang Records. Creative sets between 128-140 BPM, master of fluid transitions. On Padang Records: Virtuous Spiral (07/2023), the Slippery Slope remix (Akari System), Onduwave (VA Exogenesis) and Hit for The Hater (Technomad II). Also active as the Voqui project.
