Tekra

MNGRM — Tekra (EP, 2025). Dark progressive / psy tech on Padang Records, Brazil. Two figures drift toward one another, formed not of flesh, but of currents, vapors, and vanishing edges. Twin faces meeting in a moment suspended— a dialogue of mirrors where self and shadow trade places and neither one truly stays. This is Tekra: a dance of duality, a collision of forces that flicker between becoming and dissolving. MNGRM moves through these states as if tracing the outline of smoke— shifting, slipping, returning, never the same shape twice. The music rises from that tension: dark pulses bending like liquid metal, textures breathing in slow spirals, melodies coiling around each other until you can’t tell which voice belongs to which side or whether any side ever existed at all. Impermanence is the only constant here. We are brief sparks in a drifting world, faces forming from mist and fading back into it before we have time to name ourselves. Yet in this fleeting moment, in this meeting of echoes and opposites, something real emerges— a truth held not in permanence, but in the intensity of passing through. Tekra is that passage. A reminder that we are all dancers made of breath and shadow, flickering for an instant before dissolving into the great, unapologetic night.
