Dark progressive / psy tech on Padang Records, Brazil. altered geometry a city of cubes seen from above every roof the same. every roof hollow. every block a few degrees off sameness was the blueprint. look closer something red is leaking between the blocks the grid starts on the inside first you measure yourself then you become the measure. a humanoid shape standing exactly where a person should be nobody checks if anyone is inside. two of them do. old friends, same room, years of it one hears what the other hasn't played yet a friendship is the first glitch in the pattern. no hand moves the pieces four hands do. they don't break the grid they bend it. one degree. then another. until the corners stop agreeing the kick keeps the floor honest the rhythm under the concrete is older than the blueprint. seen from above it still looks like a city. down here nobody stands where they should every body a few degrees off the same red leaking through every one of them the blocks are still in place. the geometry isn't.
